A warm and hearty bowl of porridge is my favourite choice of breakfast, brunch or even snack. With the addition of exotic fruits like mango, passion fruit and coconut, we are left with a winter- summer fusion all in one little bowl of delight. I decided to throw on some left over chocolate from my snack cupboard to add some extra richness to the flavours. Have a go and see what you think!
Sugar/ sweetener (if desired)
Cinnamon (if desired)
Very ripe mango (cubes)
Chocolate (Milk or dark!)
1) Mix the oats and cinnamon with your desired amount of milk (depending on how you like your oats)
2) Heat in the pan on a medium heat until desired (oats are very personal!) I personally don't like them too thick or too runny. If they become too thick i add some more cold milk.
3) Plate up your oats and add the fruit toppings and coconut shavings.
4) If you fancy it throw on a bit of dark or milk chocolate!
